Utility Substation Feed

This high-voltage, nestable skid is manufactured and tested offsite, then transported to the utility substation jobsite for installation. Each skid consists of a Hitachi utility substation transformer, two ‘R-Mag” breakers, a 240/120 hot transformer, and a transclosure with controls.  Its innovative “nestable” configuration allows the upper structure to nest within the base during transport, overcoming height restrictions and reducing shipping challenges.  A 69K high-voltage transmission line input feeds the transformer. A 7,190 medium-voltage distribution output leaves the skid to feed down-stream power distribution systems.
