Tactics Employed
This skid combines a 69kV, 3MVA transformer from Hitachi Energy with 13.8kV switchgear to provide rapidly deployed utility scale power for standard use or disaster recovery. The Electric Utility Skid consisted of a 8.4 MVA Transformer that fed 12.5k overhead Buss Bars. The OH Buss Bars fed (2) 15kv Rmag Switches. There was also a Transclosure which housed all the controls.
Lessons Learned
Coordinating the Site Logistics with the Deployment team is critical. Site locations are sometimes in rural unincorporated areas.
