YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Controller is a key leader on the MPS leadership team. Contributes to all areas of facility management and provide strong financial leadership. The Controller is responsible for planning and coordinating annual budgets and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction and provide recommendations to improve site performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, GL, and Cost Accounting
- Manage the monthly revenue recognition and cost projection process (CAC reviews) with the Operations Manager(s) and Corporate Finance.
- Implement rigorous cost control measures and conduct regular cost analyses to identify areas for improvement. Optimize resource allocation to enhance profitability.
- Partners with Vice President and senior management to provide a strategic and proactive approach to financial planning to develop the Company’s short and long-term goals.
- Review and evaluate new opportunities and related contract terms to ensure alignment with the Company’s risk profile and financial and strategic goals.
- Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the efficiency and performance of our facilities. This includes developing and monitoring financial performance metrics. Analyze variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions
- Must work across organization boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve objectives
- Preparation and management of the Annual Budget process
- Integrates and trains new staff while leading the continued professional development of the supporting team
- Implements best practices across finance team, e.g. process improvements, financial modeling and procedures changes
- Provides unsolicited consultation, interpretation and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions
- Monitor and implement internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks
- Ensures proper accounting in accordance with US GAAP as well as local statutory requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field
- CPA preferred
- 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- A passion for detail and complexity; a knack for problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with larger ERP systems and financial reporting tools; Oracle preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
- Effective leader with excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and a team player
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
TRAVEL:
- Up to 50%
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
- Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

PAY RANGE
$122,800.00-$161,200.00 AnnualThe pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
